Supermassive Games and Bandai Namco’s anthology horror series The Dark Pictures has seen three releases now with Man of Medan, Little Hope, and the newest entry, House of Ashes. As with previous entries, House of Ashes also comes with a teaser for the next game in the series.
The Devil in Me will be the fourth entry in The Dark Pictures Anthology, as a trademark filing gave away back in July. The story seems to be focused on a twisted serial killer, with several scenes showing the many people he’s killed in a number of horrific ways. There’s also a creepy, rotting animatronic corpse in there. Interestingly enough, the teaser also claims that The Devil in Me will be the final entry in the first season of The Dark Pictures. There’s no telling exactly how many seasons are planned, but Supermassive Games has previously said that it has plans for as many as eight games in the anthology series. Whether the developer will be taking a bit of a break after season one ends and take a little longer to come out with the next entry remains to be seen.
