The data for boxed video game sales in the UK over the last week is in (via GamesIndustry), and though it wasn’t as eventful of a week as the on before that, there is still some interesting stuff to talk about. Back 4 Blood was the big new release of the week, and it debuts in fourth place. 64% of its sales came on the PS5, 22% on the PS4, and 17% on Xbox. It’s worth remembering that the game is also available via Xbox Game Pass.
The three games above Back 4 Blood have all retained their positions from last week. FIFA 22 is in first place for the third consecutive week, and Far Cry 6 also holds on to the second spot, where it debuted last week. Metroid Dread, which saw a solid debut last week and debuted at No. 3, has held on to its place in the charts as well.
Alan Wake Remastered and Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania both debuted in the top 10 last week, but have fallen out of it in this week’s charts. In its place we see a number of evergreen titles, with the likes of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury, and Grand Theft Auto 5 continuing to exhibit long leds.
