Halo Infinite’s Super Punch Glitch Has Already Been Fixed in Internal Builds, 343 Industries Confirms

The super punch is something that many Halo players (Halo 2 and in particular) will be quite familiar with- it is essentially a glitch that allows you to cancel melee animations with a button press, which means you get to dole out a flurry of melee attacks in very quick succession. As you might imagine, that can be a bit of a nuisance in PvP, and since the glitch was discovered in the ongoing Halo Infinite technical preview, players have been using it quite freely.

As fun as it can be to use or witness, it’s not exactly ideal for balancing and fair competition, and thankfully, 343 Industries has already addressed the issue. On Twitter, community manager Brian Jarrard recently confirmed that issues with super punches have already been resolved by 343 Industries in the game’s internal build, which means the exploit won’t be available in the final game. So enjoy it right now, while you still can.

Predictably enough, Halo Infinite’s multiplayer beta has also gone hand-in-hand with leaks, including one that may have revealed three unannounced maps for the shooter. Read more on that through here.

Halo Infinite launches for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC on December 8.
