Activision Blizzard Hires New ‘Chief People Officer’ and Chief Commercial Officer Following Allegations
In a recent press release on the Activison Blizzard website, CEO of Activision Bobby Kotick has announceed that two new hires – namely Julie Hodges from the Walt Disney Company and Sandeep Dube from Delta Airlines will be occupying the positions of Chief People Officer and Chief Commercial officer respectively.
This announcement is a response to the horrendous acts that have been ensuing for so long at Blizzard’s Irvine headquarters. With two new leads at the helm in the departments of HR and Revenue, Blizzard aims to right its wrongs and one could of course, be hopeful of change.
Activision Blizzard recently got under a lot of fire recently, and rightfully so – following a number of allegations such as sexual harrassment and discrimination. This DFEH conducted investigation bought to light a number of offenders occupying key roles in the company’s hierarchy, and many of them have now left the company – including CEO J. Allen Brack among others.
